Pod Lettings is a family business that has been established in South London for over Forty Years. Previously we managed our own private portfolio but in 2020 we made the decision to offer our personal, friendly and professional approach to residential lettings to external Landlords as well.

Our mission is to carefully select hard working, reliable individuals who will treat your property like it was their own, meet financial obligations and all clauses outlined in your bespoke Tenancy Agreement.

The process from start to finish will be efficient and as stress-free as possible for you. We can offer you a free, next-day market appraisal on your property and have it on the market within just 48 hours at a very competitive price. We then draw potential tenants from our extensive in-house waiting list and market leading property websites including Zoopla and Spareroom.

 

Tenant Finding Service – this includes:

  • Source tenants
  • Extensively reference check the tenants in-house
  • Ensure tenants have the Right to Rent in the UK and have received all necessary documents required by the UK Governmental Department of Housing Communities and Local Government
  • Draft and create a bespoke Tenancy Agreement including signing and handing keys to tenants
  • Comprehensive Inventory
  • Check-in and take readings
  • Deposit registration
  • At the end of the tenancy, Inventory Check out and keys collection
  • Offer support and advice to tenants and Landlord throughout tenancy

 

 

Cost to Landlord:

The cost to The Landlord is the equivalent to two weeks rental value of the property and is due the day of new tenant check in.

Eg. If The monthly rental value of the property is £1000.00 the one off fee paid to POD Lettings would be £462.00
